A white, crusty outside, soft inside, rustic tin loaf. It's getting festive with an addition of brandy-soaked cranberries and crushed pretzel sticks. Don't worry if you don't like brandy; it's very subtle once it's had a good baking.

A treat smothered with butter or you preferred alternative. It would also go amazingly with a festive cheese board.

I may occasionally bake these as open ovals rather than in tins, in which case they will be a few grams lighter, but still the same amount of loaf.
